Biography

Welcome!
I’m Liz, Founding Director and Principal Executive Coach at Supero Executive Coaching and proud ‘ADHDer’!
My professional and personal journey has been profoundly shaped by the conviction that ADHD is not something that needs ‘curing’ or ‘fixing’ but a distinctive cognitive asset, when strategically harnessed and understood, can become a formidable asset in both leadership and life! It is that deep personal understanding of life with ADHD which drives me to do what we do here at Supero Executive Coaching.
Roles Held
Throughout my career, I have held a range of senior leadership roles, across both corporate and non-profit, including :
- Operations Director
- Company Director
- Marketing Director
- Events Management Team Lead
- Senior Instructor & Sports Coaching Lead
How ADHD Shapes My Career
My own experience with ADHD, formed over a lifetime, shapes both who I am and how I coach. Through self-awareness and questioning coupled with cognitive mapping, I have come to understand the complexities and nuances of my ADHD, including :
- A hyperactive mind (what I affectionately term ‘a circus brain’)
- Hyperfocus coupled with difficulty sustaining attention
- ‘Zig zagging’
- High analytical and intuitive skills
- Thriving in a crisis (exceptional performance under pressure)
A pivotal moment in my journey was the ability to acknowledge and accept the social and cognitive dissonance I often experience, particularly when compared to neurotypical individuals. Rather than viewing my ADHD as limitation, I reframed it as a ‘superpower’. That asset, when understood and strategically harnessed, enhances adaptability, creativity and leadership. Recognising and analysing these cognitive traits provided the foundational impetus for the establishment of Supero Executive Coaching.
Developing what I term ‘my ADHD operational manual’ has been transformative, allowing me to navigate the complexities of my own ADHD with greater clarity, flexibility and empowerment. This framework has not only provided me with deeper self-awareness but has influenced my career choices, guiding me towards roles that complement my ADHD. I thrive in environments that balance structured frameworks with dynamic, high-stakes challenges, gravitating towards crisis management, event leadership, mentoring and coaching. My success in these fields is a testament to the power of aligning career paths with neurodivergent strengths, rather than forcing conformity to conventional workplace expectations. Thus, ensuring both longevity and fulfilment in my work.
Through Supero Executive Coaching, I extend this philosophy to fellow professionals, enabling them to unlock their own cognitive potential, redefine leadership strategies and harness their neurodivergence with confidence and purpose.
About Supero Executive Coaching
I felt that traditional executive coaching frameworks lacked the tailored support required for high level professionals/executives with atypical cognitive profiles, as they often failed to accommodate and acknowledge the unique strengths and challenges these individuals possess. From this Supero Executive Coaching was established! I wanted to create a holistically attuned, transformative coaching workspace, where clients are empowered and celebrated. Through the processes of personal reflection, exploration and individual goal setting, we enable clients to gain in confidence to pursue their goals and enhance their careers.
What makes me qualified?
With nearly two decades of cross-sector leadership experience, I bring a multidimensional perspective to executive coaching :

My career spans the motor industry, event management, education, the third sector and most recently the sports and leisure industry, together shaping my adaptive leadership style and understanding of the constantly evolving demands of the modern professional.
Neurodivergent Coaching Experience
What links these diverse roles is my consistent commitment to coaching and mentoring as a vehicle for transformation. Over the past 15 years, I have coached a wide variety of individuals across multiple industries and neurocognitive profiles, with a particular focus on coaching individuals with ADHD, ASD and other Neurodivergent conditions.
In the last seven years, I have extended this work into the sports and leisure sector, as a ski instructor, earning a Level 2 Alpine Coaching Award.
